Hey Friend...

I remember when I was 19 years old and hungry to make money online.

Back in the good 'ol days of 1999 (before the almost end of the world)...

There was this "thing" called the "interwebs"... I'm starting to date myself!

I had absolutely no idea on how to make money online.

All I heard is that I needed a website. Like anyone who's hungry to learn and before the age of Google...

I found myself stalking whatever nerd or geek I could I find in the computer section at Barnes and Noble.

I felt like that guy in the club... you know "that" guy who reeked of desperation and determined to "score"?

My victim was reading a book. I was determined to master this "interwebs" thing and make myself a gazillion dollars in the dot-com bubble. I mean HECK... people were making tons of money. So like anyone I mine as well go to the source... programming!

So there was my new friend... we'll call him "Robby" to protect the innocence.

I tapped Robby on the shoulder and asked, "Hey how do you make money online?"

Robby in his experience as a computer nerd told me I needed to learn how to build website.

He then gave me this super thick book that looked I could beat someone to death and convinced me I needed to learn that.

Fast forward 10 years later, I was a top programmer and ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE... (I say that with all emphasis because working 100 hours a week and sleeping under your desk sucked!)

I was no closer to making my dreams come true.

I had an agency building website. Sure I was making a 6 figure income, but I was trading time for money. If I didn't work, I didn't make money.

You ever done that before?

Chances are... you have... and you currently do. So I can imagine you can relate to my position.

Add insult to injury, I met a few friends online who were killing it!

Every time I called them they would tell me how they were on vacation, making $30,000 a month... some even more....

...I felt CRUSHED!...

... yet even more motivated than ever before!

Because there I was stuck in an office desperately wanting a change in my life.

After 10 painful years, I discovered programming was NOT the way to make the kind of money AND the lifestyle freedom I wanted.

I found myself on the hunt again for a way to make money on the good 'ol "interwebs"...

Except this time I wasn't desperate. NO! I was determined.

I knew this time around finding a mentor was vital to my success.

By this time in life I was no longer the dumb 19 year old kid... I was the savvy agency owner who hated his life. Funny how that works right?

I sought high and low. I said YES to everything and NO to nothing.

I ran across it all.

I saw it all.

I possibly tried it all.

Some with great success... others with utter failure.

People would tell me I was stupid...

What they didn't know was that I was an experimentalist.

Yup! That's right... I was experimenting to find what was best for me.

Low and behold I finally found a mentor.

And I discovered the most incredible business model... high-ticket courses and affiliate marketing.

Fast forward to today... and now I make in one month what I used to make in an entire year.

"What's the secret to your success?" you may ask...

Simple.

Find a mentor and learn!

Mentors compress your learning time and get you into profits faster.

Second... I only listened to people who were winning.

I never, ever, ever took advice from another employee like Robby.

BIG mistake (and I mean EPIC mistake) most people make is they get financial advice from people who are not financially successful and independent.

Imagine getting marriage advice from a man or woman who was divorced 8 times.

How weighty would their words be?

Not weighty enough.

Yet why is it so many times we go to these people (friends, family, and co-workers) and get business advice from them?

Because they are "safe" and they in our "comfort zone".

Look... like me, it's not your fault. There's so much information online it can be confusing.

Just like me, you don't know what you don't know...

That's why I went to Robby and wasted 10 years of my life.

Don't be like me. Don't follow another Robby in your life.

Get around a successful person who's winning.

Learn from successful people so you don't waste another 5 or 10 years (maybe more).

PPS: The one big win I'm most proud of (outside of my family) was raising millions of dollars to rescue children from starvation and human trafficking...
